Project Engineer
June 2026 - Present
As a Project Engineer at Rulon International, I support design-to-installation execution for custom wood ceiling and wall systems used in high-end commercial construction. I act as the technical bridge between architects, general contractors, and internal manufacturing, translating architectural intent into feasible, manufacturable designs and clear installation guidance. My work is split between producing AutoCAD shop drawings and submittal packages and collaborating directly with customers and contractors to resolve constructability details, confirm scope through takeoffs, create manufacturing drawings and BOMs, and support the project through installation.
Engineering Service Representative
December 2024 - May 2026
At Converge Design, I supported engineering teams by improving the reliability and usability of their CAD and data management workflows. I modeled parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, refined drawings, and created technical assets used for training and sales support. I also worked hands on with SolidWorks PDM and related infrastructure, helping teams maintain version control, permissions, and clean file structures for collaboration. A big part of the job was troubleshooting real production blockers, including broken references, server and permission issues, and remote access constraints, and then communicating fixes clearly so teams could keep moving.
Mechanical Design Engineer I
February 2024 - December 2024
At Kubota R&D, I worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer supporting both product improvements and next-generation concepts in a manufacturing-driven environment. I designed parts and assemblies in CATIA, created prototype drawings for fabrication and outsourcing, and used FEA to evaluate structural performance and potential failure modes. I presented engineering reports and design recommendations across teams to align on requirements, constraints, and next steps. I also supported prototype testing and used results to drive iteration, which taught me how to design under real-world constraints and deliver work that could move from prototype into production.
Systems/Electrical Engineering Intern
May 2023 - August 2023
At Vēro Biotech, I supported verification and validation work for the GENOSYL nitric oxide delivery system in an FDA-regulated environment. I executed structured hardware and software test protocols, documented results, and used MATLAB to analyze data and generate plots that helped identify issues early. I also developed a preventive maintenance protocol for electrical systems to improve reliability and reduce downtime. The role required clear documentation and cross-functional communication, especially when troubleshooting system malfunctions and summarizing findings for engineers and stakeholders.
Operations Engineering Intern
June 2022 - August 2022
At Vicarious Surgical, I worked in operations engineering supporting the build process for a complex surgical robotic arm with tightly integrated mechanical and electrical components. I helped standardize the assembly procedure and organized technical specifications into a format that technicians could follow consistently. I also developed a guided workflow tool within a manufacturing software platform to direct technicians step by step through the build. This experience sharpened my ability to improve repeatability, reduce ambiguity, and translate engineering intent into clear, build-ready instructions.
Undergraduate Researcher
May 2021 - May 2022
In the BITN Lab at Georgia Tech, I worked on the Ambulatory Cardiopulmonary Auscultation Patch, a wearable device designed to capture heart and lung sounds for ambulatory monitoring and biometric authentication research. I supported fabrication and testing of the patch using nanocomponent-based sensing elements with elastomer encapsulation and helped run data collection on more than 40 participants. I processed raw heart sound signals using digital signal processing to clean, segment, and extract usable features, which fed modeling workflows that used machine learning to distinguish individual user profiles. The project contributed to a publication in Advanced Sensors Research and taught me how to execute careful experimental work while documenting results clearly.
